What is Fair Go Friends?

The Fair Go Friends Network is a group of partnering businesses that have pledged support to Rob Fairs Foundation’s vision of creating “A Tasmania where communities come together to give every young person the opportunity to be the best version of themselves.”

Our vision is achieved through long term partnerships with youth focused agencies, service providers and importantly, the local business community, to identify those in need of assistance and the provision of appropriate support.

Support from those in our Fair Go Friends Network is indicated through a simple willingness to be contacted to provide assistance to a young Tasmanian in need. Support can vary but may include provision of a product or service, work experience placement, mentorship or guidance on matters that are relevant to your area of expertise.

The Fair Go Friends Network has not been established to raise operating revenue, but a way to engage our community to support our own through non-financial contributions at times of need.

By the end of 2024, we recorded a total of 131 businesses, organisations, agencies and service providers in our Fair Go Friends Network. This unique network is what helps us transform the lives of young and disadvantaged Tasmanians.
